Go back to the previously-viewed page. Go forward to a subsequently-viewed page. This command is only available after you've used Back.
Next Page is especially useful because the pages you open may not download in the order they appear in the Page List. This may be due to network traffic, or because some pages are bigger than others, or because of the arrangement of the pages and sites you're accessing. Using Next Page in conjunction with Surf-Ahead, you can quickly go through a large number of pages without having to manually navigate the Page List. The order in which Next Page visits downloaded pages can be controlled by options in the Navigation tab of the iRider Options dialog box. Go to the next downloaded, unvisited page that's within the current website. If there are no completely downloaded pages, Next Page Within Site takes you to the page within the current site that's closest to being completely downloaded. Go to the parent page for the current page, i.e., the web page or Favorites folder containing the link you clicked to reach the current page. The originating link or Favorite is hilited (if possible), which is particularly handy if you've clicked on a Favorite and found that the page or site is gone: just use the Parent command and press the Del key to delete the Favorite. The Parent command works even if you opened the current page from a Favorites menu: the parent Favorites folder opens in the Page List, and the originating Favorite is hilited. Go to the page immediately above this page in the Page List. Go up to the previous site in the Page List. Go to the first page in the Page List. Go to the page immediately below this page in the Page List. Go down to the next site in the Page List. Go to the last page in the Page List. Go to your Home page, as specified under the General tab in the Internet Options dialog box. Go to your Search page, as specified under the General tab in the iRider Options dialog box. Search terms entered in your search page are automatically added to the Edit/Find dialog, letting you easily find particular occurrences of the search term within a page, using the Edit/Find or Edit/Find Again commands.
Click the checkbox for individual search engines or even entire categories, then enter your search key once and it's sent to each search engine. Click Next Page (or the F4 key) to fly through search results pages queued for download using Surf-Ahead. In no time, you'll have exhaustively researched your subject of interest. You can quickly check or uncheck all search engines using the All or None buttons; to quickly uncheck all engines and check only Google web search, click the Google Only button. Instead of clicking a search engine's checkbox, you can also send the current search key to a search engine or category immediately by clicking the engine name (with the left or right mouse button). This is especially useful when you've already started a search and want to add more search engines to the set you've already opened. The Next Page command visits any non-search pages before any search pages, so as soon as target pages found in a search finish download, you'll see them first, before any additional search results. Open your browsing history: a window showing all the pages you've visited over the last several days. The number of days retained is specified under the General tab in the Internet Options dialog box. |
